Jill Ashworth
Ballet
Jill was a member of Utah Junior Ballet and trained with Linda Fenton for 15 years. She performed various roles in Cinderella, Twelve Dancing Princesses and Coppelia, including Malificent in The Sleeping Beauty. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Utah in Modern Dance where she was the recipient of many scholarships, including the Dean Haskell Endowed Scholarship and runner up to the Elizabeth R. Hayes Scholarship. While at the University of Utah, she studied ballet and modern technique, performed, choreographed and taught on the elementary and high school level. She has been a master teacher for a local high school and has choreographed for their spring concert and theater productions, including Bye Bye Birdie and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
