Hannah Higgs has loved dancing since she was three years old. Hannah was trained in classical ballet, lyrical, and jazz at Linda Fenton Dance Studio in Sandy, Utah, for 15 years. While training with Linda Fenton, Hannah had the opportunity to travel to New York City and study at Broadway Dance Center. Also during her time with Linda Fenton, Hannah competed in jazz and lyrical routines in competitions statewide, earning many titles. Hannah has participated in multiple shows with Mountain West Ballet, located in Sandy, Utah, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker. Hannah is currently pursuing a BFA in ballet at Utah Valley University. During her time at the university, Hannah has been a two-year member of UVU’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble under the direction of Mark Borchelt and Jamie Johnson. In this performing group Hannah worked closely with many choreographers, including Andy Noble, Anna Mansbridge, Jacqueline Colledge, and Bill Evans. One of Hannah’s favorite experiences with UVU was performing Andy Noble’s work “Tower” in the gala at American College Dance Association in Boulder, Colorado, in 2018. In addition to performing, over the past three years Hannah has been sharing her love of dance through choreographing for and teaching students of all ages.
