Jill Mueller
Jill trained with Linda Fenton, in New York at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on
Broadway, and American Ballet Theatre, and at the University of Utah as she pursued a
degree in Art History. She danced solo and principal roles with Utah Junior Ballet,
including Swanhilda in Coppelia, Princess January and Fairy Harmony in Twelve Dancing
Princesses, and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty. She was a founding member of
DanceAdemics, a touring program for elementary schools relating dance to math and
literature. Jill has taught ballet, tap, and jazz for two decades, has managed countless
dance recitals and choreographed for ballets, dance festivals, and theater productions,
including The Music Man and Fiddler on the Roof. She has produced and choreographed
for Broadway Kidz since 2007 and looks forward to the music and mayhem every year.
Jill has been with Mountain West Ballet since 2008, choreographing for The Nutcracker,
Twelve Dancing Princesses, and Cinderella, and serving as the Artistic Director for the
2011 season including The Sleeping Beauty. She is married to Nathan Mueller and they
have three energetic children.
